I am Tim Outland, son of HTCM(SW) Richard Outland. Just wanted to let shipmates of Shenandoah know Dad is in a bad way. He is in Depaul Hospital, Norfolk, Va in ICU. We just found out he is going to be in for a tough battle with cancer. We need any "Tough Tender" prayer help you guys can muster up. I'll be in Norfolk myself tonight if you can get the word out, I know once he can accept visitors, he would like visits or words of encouragement from the crew. I'll have my notebook with me if anybody wants to send a email note as well.

I spoke with Tim this evening and he will let me know (so I can let you all know) when the Master Chief is authorized visitor's. I also called Capt McNicholas and informed him. Tim said it was ok for me to post his cell number here. You may either call him or email him.

PLEASE keep Master Chief Outland in your PRAYERS!!! I know he would love to hear from all of you.
